Getting Started

Learn how to integrate the RugCheck API into your application in minutes.

Free API

There are three free ways to access the RugCheck API:

No Authentication

Send your request to https://api.rugcheck.xyz . Rate limit is 1 per second.

FluxRPC API Key (Recommended)

Create an account at FluxRPC . Navigate to the RugCheck section. Create an API key.

This is the recommended option because if you ever need to switch to a paid subscription, it's seamless and your application will just work.

For paid API plans, create an account at FluxRPC . Navigate to 'Payment', select and pay for a plan. Currently, we accept credit cards through Stripe.

Then navigate to 'API Keys' under the RugCheck header in the left sidebar menu. Create one or more API keys for your application to use.

Using API Keys

There are two ways to use RugCheck API keys:

Option 1: Query Parameter

https://api.rugcheck.xyz/ping?key=<your-API-key>

Option 2: Header (Preferred)

'X-API-KEY': '<your-API-key>'
(replace <your-API-key> with your API key)
