Getting Started

Set up your FluxRPC account and start making lightning-fast RPC calls in minutes.

Initial Setup

There are three steps to complete before starting to use FluxRPC:

Create an account

Step 1

Create an API key and select a region

Step 2

Buy bandwidth or select a plan (optional)

1. Creating an Account

To create an account on FluxRPC, simply sign in for the first time at the dashboard using the "Get Started" button in the top right on the FluxRPC website .

Sign-in Methods

  • Solana Wallet (e.g. Solflare, Phantom)
  • Google account
  • GitHub account
  • Email + Password

Note

When signing in with a Solana wallet, it will pop up once to connect to the website, and again to sign a message to prove you are the owner of the wallet. This is normal and does not incur any transaction fees.

2. Creating an API Key and Selecting a Region

Navigate to the API Keys page from the dashboard menu or directly at /admin/apikeys .

Steps to Create an API Key

  1. Select the green "Create API Key" button in the top right
  2. Give your API key a name (required)
  3. Click "Create"
  4. Your new API key will be displayed immediately and is ready to use

Note

An account may have multiple API keys. Usage from any of these keys will deduct bandwidth from the account that owns them.

Managing Your API Keys

  • Click the "Details" button on your API key to view its full value (e.g. 8a5ab0f4-f188-3a3e-a10e-a77a1b68651e )
  • Rename API keys without affecting functionality
  • Delete keys (irreversible - the key will immediately stop working)

Historical Data

FluxRPC only provides historical transaction and block data for Fogo. On Solana, RPC calls fetching transactions or blocks will work for recent transactions only.

3. Binary Stream Endpoints

We provide endpoints that stream the results of large RPC calls in binary format. This can save substantial memory for large getProgramAccounts calls - process results as they arrive instead of waiting for everything at once.

Note

The response will be in binary format and needs to be decoded by your application.

4. Buying Bandwidth

FluxRPC charges by bandwidth usage. One gigabyte costs USD $0.06 across all RPC calls. New accounts receive free bandwidth to get started.
